Phil Foden and 95-touch star among Man City’s winners from their draw vs Chelsea
Manchester City were minutes away from reducing the gap to just four points on league leaders Arsenal.
Tijjani Reijnders’ first half goal was not enough, as Enzo Fernandez snatched a point for Chelsea in the 94th minute.
Pep Guardiola could not overcame a Chelsea side who were without a permanent manager, after Enzo Maresca parted ways with the club on New Year’s Day.

Rodri
Rodri has been impacted by injury again this season, but his return to the starting XI against Chelsea was a boost in midfield for Guardiola
The 29-year-old looked impressive in the second half of Man City’s 0-0 draw with Sunderland, and he carried on that performance here.

The Spaniard also won four of his five tackles, which did not allow Chelsea to get a foothold of the game in midfield, particularly in the first half.
Tijjani Reijnders
It was a powerful strike which beat Filip Jorgensen at his front post, handing Reijnders his third goal in four games from midfield.
Man City have been criticised for heavily relying on Erling Haaland, but Reijnders is proving to be another source of goals.
The 27-year-old times his runs from deep perfectly, and is starting to hit the ground running since his summer arrival.
Phil Foden
The 25-year-old was one of Man City’s liveliest attacking threats, and was unlucky not to score when his low strike narrowly went wide of a post in the first half.

Foden also produced a neat flick to send Haaland away, where the striker was able to force Filip Jorgensen into a stretching save.
The midfielder caused Chelsea problems in-behind Haaland, and it is no surprise that Man City want to tie Foden down to a new long-term deal.
