Phil Foden joined a wave of players in responding to Morgan Rogers after his social media post celebrating Aston Villa’s impressive victory over Chelsea.

Rogers started the match but didn’t manage to score or provide an assist. However, he had a solid performance before being substituted for Donyell Malen.
Despite not being on the scoresheet, the Englishman took to social media to celebrate the team’s victory, prompting reactions from several players who acknowledged his contributions.

Rogers posted on Instagram after the win with the caption, “Big win, well done boys!!” while tagging goal scorer Asensio.

The 22-year-old is often active on social media, as shown when Rogers recently sent a message to Virgil van Dijk after their sides drew.
He has enjoyed somewhat of a breakout season at the club, making 36 appearances this season, scoring 11 goals and providing six assists. Unai Emery has shown he has faith in the versatile forward, as he has started all 26 league games for the side.
