
Phil Foden responds as Erling Haaland sends new message to Man City fans
Man City striker Erling Haaland has taken to social media to tell fans they still “believe” despite their dismal run of form.
Pep Guardiola’s side are winless in their last seven games, six of which have been defeats, marking the club’s worst run of form since the Spaniard took over in 2016.
Haaland, 24, continues to find the back of the net despite his team’s struggles, netting three goals in four appearances throughout the run, including a brace in their 3-3 Champions League draw with Feyenoord.
The big Norwegian has scored 17 goals in 19 appearances across all competitions, yielding a total of 1672 minutes of game time and averaging a goal every 98 minutes.

Arne Slot’s side are running away with the Premier League, nine points above Arsenal in second and eleven points above City after their 2-0 win on Sunday (December 1).
Determined to turn their dismal run of form around, Haaland took to Instagram to let fans know he still “believes” City can salvage their season, and one of the first to respond was his superstar teammate Phil Foden.

Haaland’s caption says: “We’ve seen better days before, and we’ll see them again. We keep believing.”
Guardiola’s side face Nuno Espirito Santo’s high-flying Nottingham Forest at the Etihad on Wednesday (December 4) knowing anything less than a win could prove disastrous.
