Phil Foden sends message to Man City fans after humiliation
Phil Foden has sent Man City fans a message ahead of their Premier League fixture against Nottingham Forest after their horrific run of results.
City have gone seven games without a win in all competitions, with Pep Guardiola’s side dropping to fifth in the Premier League.
The champions have been blown away by multiple opponents over the past month including by a rampant Liverpool in Sunday’s 2-0 reverse at Anfield.
Foden’s own form has been horrendous and he is a shadow of the player who won the PFA player of the year last season.
The England international has failed to score in the Premier League this season and has only provided one assist as the pressure has started to mount on him.
He wrote: “It’s been a difficult few weeks and of course, we’re not where we want to be. But, we’ll work together and keep fighting, we go again on Wednesday.”
Man City are reeling after being blown away by Liverpool last weekend
The defending Premier League champions are 11 points behind Liverpool after the opening 13 matches, putting the team at a serious disadvantage in the title race.

Foden boasted a zero percent dribble success rate and lost possession 12 times as the Reds ran riot with a 2-0 win.

City will be back in action on Wednesday (4 December) when they face Forest, who are sat just one place and point behind them.
Guardiola’s side will follow that up with a game against Crystal Palace on Saturday (7 December).
