Man City star Phil Foden has taken to social media to share a training ground update ahead of the Manchester Derby on Sunday (December 15).

The 24-year-old has struggled so far this season, starting 12 of his 17 games across all competitions, scoring three goals, and providing two assists in 1150 minutes of action.

Pep Guardiola’s side have won just one of their last 10 games, falling further behind Liverpool in the race for the Premier League title, sitting in fourth, eight points behind the league leaders having played one more game.

City’s 2-0 Champions League defeat to Juventus on Wednesday (December 11) leaves them on the brink of being eliminated from Europe’s elite club competition, placed in 22nd with French champions PSG up next.

The current champions host Man United in arguably the most important Manchester derby of Guardiola’s tenure.
