‘Philippe Clement will be sacked tonight’ – Rangers fans react

Rangers supporters have demanded that Philippe Clement’s time at the club is brought to an end following their recent result against Hibernian.

The Gers shared the spoils with Hibernian after a thrilling six-goal encounter at Easter Road on Sunday (5 January).

Clement’s men had created a two-goal lead in the opening 20 minutes, and after a Martin Boyle brace levelled the score at 2-2, Hamza Igamane scored his third of the game to retake the lead at 3-2.

However, Rangers ended up being punished once again as they failed to hold onto the result by conceding another equaliser in the 83rd minute.

The result leaves Celtic with the opportunity to extend their gap at the top of the table, which currently sits at 10 points.

The Hoops have a game in hand on their Old Firm rivals and could end up 13 points ahead in the title race after 20 fixtures.

Rangers fans believe Philippe Clement must be sacked

Rangers had picked up a dominant 3-0 win during their most recent outing against Celtic last Thursday (2 January), but their hard work to keep the title race alive was undone straight away.

The 50-year-old manager is under contract at Ibrox until 2028, but supporters insisted the club have “no self respect” if they allow him to remain at the club.
