Piers Morgan delivers Twitter verdict after Tottenham win v Swansea
By Dominic Toner
Arsenal fan Piers Morgan explained his misery on Twitter after Tottenham secured a late victory over Swansea in the Premier League.
Spurs produced a stunning late comeback to earn three points at the Liberty Stadium on Wednesday night.
Wayne Routledge’s first-half goal gave the Swans a surprise lead and Mauricio Pochttino’s side didn’t level until the 88th minute through Dele All.
They then went on to score two stoppage time goals through Heung-Min Son and Christian Eriksen, meaning they stay seven points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea in the title race.
Spurs’ victory ensured they stayed second in the league table and it also means they are a huge 11 points above north London rivals Arsenal.

“Tiny flicker of happiness tonight, instantly extinguished by Spurs winning at the death,” Morgan wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Spurs are now hopeful of clawing back the points to win their first ever Premier League title and can draw on their experience from last season.
Pochettino’s side are now seen as the only challengers to Chelsea, who they face in the EFL Cup semi-final on 22 April.
Spurs have two home games against Watford and Bournemouth in their next two league games, giving them the chance to put pressure on the Blues.
Meanwhile, rivals Arsenal now face a tough competition to make the top-four places as the pressure grows on their manager Arsene Wenger.
