Arsenal fan Piers Morgan scoffed at Tottenham Hotspur’s seemingly imminent demise after Mauricio Pochettino’s side went 2-0 down away at Juventus in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Spurs quickly conceded two goals in opening ten minutes of the tie in Turin with a double from Gonzalo Higuain and the TV celebrity took to his official Twitter account to mock the fierce rivals of his beloved Arsenal.

After bringing the match back to 2-2 with goals from Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen, Lord Sugar could not let the jibe go without comment and responded to Morgan.
Sugar queried the Gunners’ status and questioned when they would be playing in the Champions League – hitting back at the fact that Arsene Wenger’s side are in the Europa League.
Sugar tweeted his reply (@Lord_Sugar, 9:42pm) saying: ‘Yes hilarious 2-2. When are Arsenal playing in the CL. I forget.’
It had looked as though Massimiliano Allegri’s side would run away with the match, but a second penalty conceded which was not converted by Higuain gave Mauricio Pochettino’s side the initiative.
On the talkSPORT breakfast show at 06:00, Spurs legend David Ginola felt that a change in attitude from the Serie A giants also aided Tottenham’s comeback.
The Old Lady took on a more defensive approach after going two goals ahead.
