Piers Morgan makes vow on Twitter after Arsenal confirm new Wenger deal

Celebrity Arsenal fan Piers Morgan has “promised” he will never speak about Arsene Wenger again on social media after he signed a new deal at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners confirmed on their official website on Wednesday afternoon that the 67-year-old has agreed a two-year extension.
The north London club have finally broken their silence on the future of the Frenchman and he has a further two years to bring success to the club.
Wenger divides opinion with the Arsenal fans and some of them firmly believe his 21-year stay should have ended this summer when his deal was set to expire.
Morgan has regularly made it clear that he wanted him to leave at the end of the season and has reacted on Twitter emphatically following the official announcement of his contract extension.

Arsenal reached a new low this campaign under Wenger this year as they missed out on a Premier League top-four position for the first time under his tenure, meaning they are not in the Champions League next season.
They finished fifth in the league standings and were a point behind fourth-placed Liverpool.
However, several Gunners fans are more concerned about their failure not to compete for the title and champions Chelsea ended up 18 points above them.
Arsenal have not won the league title since the 2003/04 season and a FA Cup final success over Chelsea this year was their only saving grace as they picked up a piece of silverware.
