Piers Morgan takes amusing swipe at Tottenham on Twitter
By Derek Smithson
Piers Morgan has mocked Tottenham on social media by boasting about how many more followers he has compared to their official Twitter account.
The celebrity Arsenal fan frequently taunts Spurs and has an obvious dislike towards their north London rivals.
Arsene Wenger managed to salvage some pride this season by winning the FA Cup courtesy of an Aaron Ramsey winner in a 2-1 win over Chelsea.
However, the Gunners finished fifth in the Premier League table and finished outside of the Champions League spots for the first time under Wenger’s reign.
Meanwhile, rivals Spurs were in direct competition with eventual champions Chelsea for the title and earned a second-placed finish in the league.

Arsenal and Spurs are two of the Premier League’s elite sides competing at the top-end of the table, with Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United also in the running.
Arsenal fans believe they have got the better of Spurs this year as they were the only side to claim silverware.
However, the development of their rivals under Mauricio Pochettino is surely a worrying sight and there is now a real belief that Spurs have a squad strong enough to win competitions.
Harry Kane and Dele Alli are just two of the star players at Pochettino’s disposal and they are now preparing themselves for the temporary switch to Wembley Stadium.
