Weah joined the Scottish champions in the January window on loan from Paris Saint-Germain and has scored four goals from 14 appearances in all competitions.
Football Insider verdict:
Bournemouth have a firm policy of signing up-and-coming stars and developing them on the training ground into bona fide Premier League operators. Part of the club’s success since climbing up the divisions into the top flight under Eddie Howe is done to finding value in the transfer market through shrewd recruitment of talented youngsters. Bournemouth have four senior strikers in their squad, including first-choice duo Callum Wilson and Josh King, £19million January signing Dominic Solanke and regular substitute Lys Mousset, as well as Jermain Defoe, who is on loan at Rangers. But Wilson has been regularly linked with top-six Premier League clubs and Howe may find himself having to replace his main man this summer. Weah has showed some positive signs at Celtic, where he has mainly been used as an impact sub. His explosive pace and sharp movement make him a real handful, and there is a firm sense that he can be a top player in a major league.
In other Celtic transfer news, it can be REVEALED that one of the club’s star players is set to sign for a European big hitter.
