25-year-old mainstay is a liability: Three things we learned from Rangers in win v Aberdeen
The Ryan Jack conundrum
Ryan Jack was having a superb game for Rangers, dominating the midfield, until he followed through on Stevie May in a challenge and was immediately shown a red card by referee Willie Collum.
It’s the fourth red card the 25-year-old has received since joining Rangers from Aberdeen in the summer.
The midfielder has had two of those red cards rescinded, but it seems unlikely that today’s will be.
Rangers have to solve this problem with Jack, as he is undeniably a good player but his constant red cards are making him into a bit of a liability.
He will be relieved that the decision didn’t cost Rangers any points today.
