Pedro Caixinha surprised many Rangers fans by naming Miller in his starting XI.
The 37-year-old worked hard and looked to cause trouble for Partick’s defence but never really had much success.
Took over the captain’s armband when Lee Wallace when the left-back went off injured after 12 minutes before passing it on himself early in the second-half.
Miller hasn’t been at his best this season and fans will hope Herrera gets the nod to start alongside Morelos when they return to Firhill on Tuesday night.
