Rangers player ratings v Partick: Attacker struggles, midfielder could be a gamechanger
James Tavernier – 7
Tavernier pushed forward well and tried to get crosses into the Partick box but they were often easily cleared.
Did have a few really good crosses into the box and Rangers’ forwards should have done better.
Struggles defensively at times though and Thistle exploited that a few times, catching the right-back too far up the pitch.
Will need to play much better against Celtic next weekend in the first Old Firm game of the season.
