Fine in possession and looks a very composed player but is still conceding too many goals.
Cardoso and Bruno Alves are still class defenders and a big upgrade on last season’s central defence, but the Portuguese duo need to cut down on the silly mistakes if Rangers are to push Celtic for the title this season.
Let himself get bullied a few times and needs to get a bit more physical with opposition players.
