Celtic player ratings v Motherwell: 9/10 world-class display from fringe star

COMMENT

Celtic moved seven points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table with a 5-1 victory over Motherwell at Celtic Park.

The Hoops also extended their unbeaten run to 67 games, in what proved to be their easiest match of the three they played against the Steelmen this week.

French striker Odsonne Edouard was the star man with two goals in the first-half, the first a tap-in after good play by Ntcham and Sinclair, the second a fine solo finish.

The game petered out a bit in the second-half, until the Steelmen pulled a goal back through Elliott Frear.

Celtic stepped up a gear, with sub James Forrest scoring two goals and Edouard completing his hat-trick.
