Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has revealed his bold aim for the final weeks of the transfer window.
The boss, who led the north London club to second position in the Premier League last season, has said that he wants to sign four more players before the transfer window closes.
The window slams shut on August 31, and with deadline day looming, the Spurs manager is yet to make a single signing since the start of the summer.
Dan Kilpatrick, a Tottenham reporter for ESPN, has revealed on his personal Twitter account that Pochettino aims to make a number of signings in the closing weeks of the transfer window.
The journalist quoted the Spurs manager on Friday as saying: “I want four players. It’s possible yes but it’s not easy”.

Spurs fans will love this update from Pochettino as a number of players have departed the title challengers this summer while no players have joined the current squad.
The club have been linked with signing a number of players over the summer, and recently Ajax defender Davinson Sanchez looked most likely to be one of Pochettino’s four signings as the Evening Standard reported that the deal is set to be completed this weekend.
Tottenham will look ahead to their big game against Premier League champions Chelsea at their temporary home of Wembley on Sunday.
In other Tottenham news, the club are to finalise a £45million-valued signing today after terms agreed.
