Pontus Jansson posts Twitter message to Leeds fans, clears up this rumour
By Amir Mir
Pontus Jansson has posted a picture with Leeds teammate Kyle Bartley on Twitter by stating “we only fight together” squashing rumours of a bust-up with the player.
Jansson missed his side’s 2-0 defeat at home to Cardiff on Saturday with rumours circulating on social media that he got into a fight with his centre-back partner.
However, the Sweden international has swiftly cleared up that rumour with one tweet on Monday evening.
Garry Monk stated prior to the club’s clash against Bristol City on Tuesday night that he is “hopeful” Jansson will be part of the squad for that match as he recovers from illness.
The Whites failed to keep a clean sheet and lost their first fixture at Elland Road since November without Jansson at the weekend.
However, supporters will be hoping, the popular figure will return for the midweek clash as he posted this message on his personal Twitter account.
“We only fight together brother,” said Jansson.

Both Jansson and Bartley have built a strong partnership at the heart of the club’s defence this season.
Their defensive qualities have played a pivotal part as to why Monk’s team are fighting for promotion to the Premier League this term.
Jansson has played 22 Championship games, scoring three goals, two of them coming against the recently relegated duo of Norwich and Aston Villa.
In other Leeds news, supporters urge Garry Monk to start this 24-year-old against Bristol City.
