After a few quiet weeks, it looks like Celtic are back with a bang, as it seems that the Hoops are set to complete the permanent signing of Odsonne Edouard.
Sky Sports News claims that the Bhoys are set to sign the 20-year-old striker within the next 24 hours for a club record fee of £9million.

The Hoops were always interested in signing the striker on a permanent deal, but the huge nature of the deal throws up as many questions as answers.
The first thing to say is that if you spend so much money on a player, you would expect him to be the first choice striker, but at the moment Edouard isn’t the Hoops first choice striker.
Moussa Dembele is of course the main striker at the moment, but you would have to imagine that doubts will grow about his future as the Hoops are spending so much money on his potential replacement.
There is also the question of how will potentially spending £9million affect the rest of the Hoops transfer plans, as the Bhoys are in need of more signings, particularly in defence.
Perhaps there will be money coming in from players leaving the club in the summer window, and the Hoops can afford to speculate to accumulate for once.
Smashing the club’s transfer record does show a big commitment from the Hoops board to both Brendan Rodgers and Edouard, and the Hoops fans will appreciate that at least.
But the fallout of this transfer – if it happens – will be felt for a while to come yet.
