Report: Club table £10m-plus for Tottenham midfielder as replacement completes Spurs medical
By Harvey Byrne
Swansea have tabled a £10million-plus bid for Tottenham attacking midfielder Nacer Chadli, according to a report.
The Times have claimed that the Swans have made an eight-figure offer for the Belgium international amid growing doubts about his White Hart Lane future.
Tottenham are close to completing the signing of attacking midfielder Georges-Kevin N’Koudou from Marseille, with the Times reporting that he completed a medical this week.
N’Koudou would be an obvious replacement for Chadli, whose time at Tottenham now appears to be up.
The 26-year-old former FC Twente star was mainly used as a substitute towards the end of last season and he received large amounts of criticism for a mistake that lead to a 1-0 defeat by West Ham in March.

The left-winger still has two-years left on his current contract after signing for £7million in the summer of 2013 .
He starred in 40 encounters for the north London club last season scoring seven goals and providing five assists, as he helped Tottenham to a third placed finish.
Chadli may be looking to leave the club after the 30 time-capped Belgium international failed to make the squad for this summer’s European Championships in France.
The Swans and Tottenham have negotiated deals together in recent years, which include Gylfi Sigurdsson’s return to the Welsh club, while Kyle Naughton also left the London club permanently to move to Swansea.
