Premier League sack race: Thomas Frank favourite to be dismissed after Tottenham latest
Thomas Frank is under huge pressure at Tottenham, with calls for the Dane to be sacked getting louder.
Spurs lost yet again on Tuesday, with Newcastle beating them 2-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The loss has extended their winless run in the Premier League to eight matches, with the North London club being dragged ever-closer to the relegation zone.
Tottenham fans have long been calling for Frank to be sacked, with Spurs now sitting just five points above the drop zone as West Ham finally hit form.
Now the bookies see his dismissal as inevitable as his terrible reign at Tottenham continues.
Thomas Frank just 1/2 to be next manager to leave in the Premier League
Frank has long been the favourite to be sacked next in the Premier League.
The Dane has woefully underperformed at Tottenham for months, with their Champions League form perhaps the only reason he has remained at the club for so long.
However, with wins still proving to be hard to come by in the Premier League, Spurs’ chances of a shock drop into the Championship this season seem ever more likely.
As a result, one bookmaker has now placed the odds of Frank being the next manager to leave in the Premier League at just 1/2.
🚨 Thomas Frank: “I’m convinced I will still be in charge against Arsenal I’m 1000% sure that I should be the man in charge”.

Oddschecker have confirmed that these odds have been slashed, making the former Brentford boss the odds-on favourite.
Who else is in the running in the sack race?
Currently, the second-favourite to be sacked next is Brighton boss, Fabian Hurzeler at 11/2.
The Seagulls’ form has dropped off recently, and their 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace in the derby on the weekend has done little to convince fans that he is the right man to take the club forward.
Following this is Sean Dyche, who is also going through a tough patch at Nottingham Forest.
Priced at 13/2, the former Everton boss is under increasing pressure to pull the Reds away from the relegation zone.

Burnley manager Scott Parker is also in the running at 7/1, with the Clarets also certain to join Wolves in the relegation zone come the end of the season.
No manager to leave is also considered likely at 8/1, with various coaches in a safe position going into the latter half of the campaign.
