Pundit backs Newcastle United to hit ‘another level’ after source’s Mykhaylo Mudryk update
Newcastle United will go to “another level” if they can sign Mykhaylo Mudryk in January.
That’s according to former Hibernian striker Tam McManus, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Magpies’ bid to sign Mudryk.
Football Insider revealed on 20 December that the Magpies have made a move for the 21-year-old and are preparing to go toe to toe with Arsenal for his signature.

The Ukrainian has been a long-term target for Mikel Arteta’s side and has publicly shared his interest in joining them next year.
The latest from a Newcastle source today is that the club have made contact with Shakhtar Donetsk to register their interest in a potential deal.
McManus claims Newcastle could go to “another level” if Mudryk joins the club.
“He’s some player,” McManus told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“I saw him play against Celtic and he absolutely ran that game. He’s young but I think he can do it in the Premier League.
“If he went to Newcastle instead of Arsenal, which is unlikely in my opinion, it would take them to another level.
“That’s a signing you make if you are going to get into the Champions League. That’s the calibre of player Newcastle should be going for.”

Mudryk has scored seven goals in 12 league games this season.
He has also been in fine form in the Champions League, scoring three in six games.
In other news, Newcastle United could sell Allan Saint-Maximin in cut-price deal after what one pundit has seen.
