Pundit cites Kane as Rangers source reveals transfer agreement at Ibrox
Noel Whelan has applauded Rangers for being “honest” and “transparent” after striking a transfer agreement with Glen Kamara in contract talks.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Aberdeen striker claimed the Gers have done what Tottenham should have with Harry Kane after the well-documented transfer saga this summer.
As confirmed on Wednesday (22nd September), Kamara has put pen to paper on a new deal set to run until 2025.
However, a Rangers source has told Football Insider there is an agreement between all parties he will be allowed to leave at a certain price.
Arsenal made a move to sign him this summer but he remained at Ibrox.

The Glasgow giants could cash in on him next year.
Whelan suggested the agreement would keep both club and player happy ahead of future transfer windows.
“I think the honesty and transparency between the player and the club together is great,” Whelan told Football Insider’s Russell Edge.
“It’s healthy. That’s what you look at and go against with Tottenham and Harry Kane. It didn’t seem as healthy or as transparent as we thought.
“This one I do believe that Rangers would benefit financially if he had to go. If somebody hit the mark on the price that they value him at.
“This conversation they’ve had, the honesty between club and player. He’s more than happy to tie down a new contract more money.
“If somebody does come in then Rangers are going to benefit from that as well. It’s great, it looks like everyone’s in a really good place at Rangers on the field and off the field.
“Relationships are good between player and club. That’s all you want. All you want for the time being is that he seems very, very happy where he is.
“Rangers benefit from having a quality player in midfield who’s tied down to a long term deal.”
