Pundit excited as Everton plot Wolves raid to sign 'nightmare' Neto
Alan Hutton is excited as Everton plot a raid to sign Pedro Neto from Wolves this summer.
The former Scotland defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insisted the “exciting” 21-year-old winger would get “bums off seats” at Goodison Park.
As revealed by Football Insider on Monday (June 14th), Everton are plotting moves for Neto and Conor Coady as they close in on appointing Nuno Espirito Santo as manager.
The Portuguese boss is in advanced talks with the Toffees over the vacant post.
Hutton admitted Everton need to bolster their squad after a disappointing second half of the 2020/21 campaign.
He suggested Neto’s electrifying qualities could be exactly what the Toffees need.

Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “I really like Neto, I think he’s a fantastic player.
“For someone so young as well, he looks an absolute nightmare to try and mark. That’s the sort of player I do think Everton would be looking at.
“I do believe they’ve got a really good team. If you look at them at the start of last season, they started really strong but then fell away.
“It’s about bolstering that squad, getting more competition for places in there to really drive them forward into the second half of the season.
“I think that’s probably what they’ll be looking to do. Neto, he gets bums off seats. He lifts the hairs on the back of your neck.
“You want that kind of exciting player within your squad to make things happen. He can definitely do that.”
Neto scored five goals and contributed six assists in 31 Premier League appearances last term.
However, the three-cap Portugal international suffered a knee injury in April which ruled him out of this summer’s Euros.
