Pundit fears more West Ham stars joining casualty list after crushing Zouma update
Gabby Agbonlahor has admitted he is worried more players could join Kurt Zouma on the West Ham treatment table before the January transfer window.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker admitted Zouma’s injury was “very worrying” and it may get worse for West Ham in the coming weeks.
The Guardian reported today (7 December) the defender could now be out for up to 12 weeks after suffering a hamstring injury in the 3-2 win over Chelsea at the weekend.
Ben Johnson also picked up an injury in the game and will be out of action for a month.
The Hammers have seven games before they face Crystal Palace in a London derby on New Year’s Day and Agbonlahor has suggested their busy schedule could see more players pick up injuries.
“Zouma’s looked like a sore one,” he told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.

“It’s a big blow. You look at West Ham now, they’ve only got Craig Dawson and Issa Diop available at the back now.
“That’s very worrying for West Ham, that they are getting these injuries now. With a busy schedule too, you are worried they will get more injuries.
“There squad is going to be tested. This is where the squad players have to come in and put in the performances when the regular starters are injured.”
Angelo Ogbonna has been absent since suffering an ACL injury in the 3-2 win over Liverpool last month (7 November).
Sky Sports reported (9 November) he could miss the rest of the season for David Moyes’ side.
