Pundit is ‘worried’ about Benrahma’s West Ham future after source’s reveal
Said Benrahma’s minutes will be reduced at West Ham as they continue to strengthen.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Leeds and England goalkeeper Paul Robinson claimed the Algerian has performed well for the Hammers, but a prospective move depends on his own ambitions.
As revealed by Football Insider last month (27 November), the club could be willing to cash in on Benrahma if they receive a “big” offer for him amid reported interest from the Saudi Pro League.

He has started just four Premier League games this season, notching one assist, but continues to be a mainstay for West Ham in Europe after starting four of their five Europa League group stage games.
Robinson is not confident in Benrahma getting as much game time in the future but insists David Moyes’ opinion is all that matters.
“He has been good for West Ham,” he told Football Insider.
“It’s down to Benrahma’s personal ambition and how much football he wants to play at this stage of his career.
“It’s obvious that David Moyes is building a very good, strong squad there and will certainly be looking to compete on all fronts.
“They’re ninth, despite playing in Europe. Are they stronger than they were last year? Yes, absolutely they are.

“The strength of the squad is only going to get better, and it is worrying for Benrahma as his minutes are going to be limited.
“I do think he’s still got a part to play, but only Moyes’ opinion counts.”
