Pundit issues ‘brutal’ Heung-Min Son verdict after ‘ludicrous’ development at Tottenham
It is a “miracle” that Heung-Min Son hasn’t been dropped from the Tottenham starting XI.
That’s according to former Hibernian striker Tam McManus, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the 30-year-old’s disappointing campaign.
Son has scored in just two of his 18 Premier League outings this season.

The South Korean’s form has been a major concern for Tottenham this season though he has still started 17 of the club’s 18 Premier League games.
McManus has been left baffled by the drop-off in form after Son won the Premier League golden boot last season.
“Son is always good for double figures but there is no way he gets that this season,” McManus told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“He looks so far off it, it’s ludicrous. What happened over the summer? He was on fire at the end of last season then this season, I’ve never seen him play like this.
“He scored that Hattrick against Leicester and you thought he was back, then he did nothing for ages. He wasn’t that good at the World Cup either.
“I see him in the starting lineup every week, it’s a miracle he is still there, honestly. If Richarlison hadn’t been injured then Son would have been out, I’m sure.
“You rely on people like Son for goals, he’s not doing that so what is he doing? I know he’s popular but you have to be brutal sometimes.”

Son has made 350 appearances for Spurs.
Those outings have yielded 137 goals and 76 assists.
