Pundit issues ‘honest’ Maxwel Cornet claim after West Ham latest
Kevin Campbell is hopeful Maxwel Cornet won’t be out of the West Ham side for “too long” with an injury.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Premier League striker hailed Cornet’s ability to “turn the jets on”.
The 26-year-old picked up a calf injury in the Hammers’ 2-0 win over Wolves on 1 October.

The winger was not included in the matchday squad for the 3-1 win over Fulham on Sunday (9 October).
Speaking to club media before the Premier League clash (7 October), David Moyes confirmed Cornet has a “small calf strain”.
The club do not believe the injury is as bad as they first feared but the Ivory Coast international is still set for a short spell on the sidelines.
Moyes is hopeful Cornet could return for their Europa Conference League game against Anderlecht on Thursday (13 October).
Campbell insisted it will be important for the Irons to have the winger back in the side.
“Not only is he a dribbler, he is one of those players who can turn the jets on,” he told Football Insider.
“He can shift. Once you have got that, there are different permutations to what these guys can do.
“I think it is a tough one. Unfortunately injuries are a difficult thing for teams right now.

“Cornet has started his West Ham career pretty well to be honest.
“Hopefully it is not too long that he is out because he is doing ok.“
