Pundit issues ‘massive’ Liverpool claim as Mohamed Salah transfer news confirmed
Alan Hutton has suggested it will be a big relief for Liverpool to know Mohamed Salah will stay even without top four.
But, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Tottenham and Aston Villa defender said Jurgen Klopp has a “massive” window coming up in the summer.
On 26 February, Fichajes reported that the 30-year-old was considering quitting the Reds if they did not finish in the top four this season.

Taking to Twitter on Monday (27 February), Salah’s agent Ramy Abbas Issa said the claim is “nonsense” and that not qualifying for the Champions League hasn’t “crossed their minds”.
On 25 February, Football Insider revealed that Paris Saint-German are interested in the Egyptian, whose current deal runs until 2025.
The forward is on the French club’s radar ahead of the summer window.
When asked if Salah’s commitment to Liverpool will be a big relief for the club, Hutton told Football Insider: “I think so. I think he has been the number one player for a number one player for a lot of years.
“They will not want him to leave, he can still give you that little bit of magic. If he is saying that is obviously good, even if they do not make top four. You do not want an unsettled player.

“I think recruitment is massive for them in the summer. For many years teams feared going up against Liverpool, I do not really see that at this moment in time.
“Jurgen Klopp has a big job to turn that around and he is going to have to get in some big targets if he wants to do that.“
