Pundit issues ‘massive’ Man United claim after ‘big’ development

Man United could go on a “massive” run of form after sealing a fourth league win of the season.

That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Red Devils’ early-season form.

Man United beat Arsenal 3-1 on Sunday (4 September) thanks to a Marcus Rashford brace and a debut goal from Antony.

This was Man United’s fourth league win in a row after the club suffered defeat during its opening two games.

Kenny is backing the club to continue improving.

“You would back Man United to go on a bit on a run now,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“They haven’t been battering teams but they do look very good, you have to admit that.

“Ever since that Brentford game, whatever happened after that, it worked. Whether it was dropping Ronaldo or just some tweaks he’s made in training.

“Who knows? The Man United fans won’t care. I think that win against Arsenal is big because the other teams who they have beaten weren’t that good.

“Arsenal were top and unbeaten so getting one over on them will be massive for the club.

“This isn’t the end, obviously, there is still a lot of work to do. But this is not a bad place to start and you can see things continuing to get better.”
