Pundit issues ‘unbelievable’ Richarlison claim as ‘big’ Tottenham prediction made
Richarlison will take his World Cup form back to Tottenham and prove why the club paid “big money” to sign him.
That’s according to former Hibernian striker Tam McManus, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Brazilian’s recent performances.
Richarlison, 26, has starred for Brazil in their opening group games at the World Cup against Serbia, in which he scored twice, and Switzerland.

The attacker played as an out-and-out striker in both games, while at Tottenham he has mainly been used as a wide forward.
McManus is backing the attacker to explode when he returns to Spurs.
“He was their big-money signing in the summer and he hasn’t really hit the ground running,” McManus told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“You see him at number nine when he is playing for Brazil and his record in that shirt is unbelievable. That’s his spot in the Brazil team.
“He is keeping out a very good striker in Gabriel Jesus as well so I think that tells you all you need to know.
“Richarlison must be on a high right now, he’s at the World Cup scoring goals for his country and the feeling around that Brazil team is really positive as well.
“LIke I say, he’s not had the best of starts at Tottenham but you would back him to come back and have a bigger and better second half of the season after smashing it at the World Cup.”

Richarlison has made 15 appearances for Spurs in all competitions.
He missed four of Spurs last five league games with a calf injury.
