Pundit lambasts ‘disrespectful’ Jurgen Klopp after what he’s heard at Liverpool – ‘that’s terrible’
Kevin Campbell has slammed Jurgen Klopp’s response to Dietmar Hamann’s Liverpool comments.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Arsenal striker said the Reds boss was being “very disrespectful” towards the former player.
As quoted by The Telegraph (11 October), Klopp lashed out at Hamann’s comments that the Merseysiders have “lost their spark” this season.

He said that being a former player does not give Hamann the right to say whatever he wants when he has “no idea”.
Despite a 7-1 thrashing over Rangers in the Champions League on Wednesday (12 October), the Reds’ start to the season has been poor.
They are currently 10th in the Premier League table with just ten points from eight games following a 3-2 defeat to Arsenal on Sunday (9 October).
Campbell was not happy with the comments the German’s comments.
“That is very disrespectful,” he told Football Insider.
“I know he is the manager and I know it is a different regime but if anyone can ask a question it is Dietmar Hamann.
“I think it is so wrong for him to even say that about an ex-Liverpool player. That is terrible and I do not agree with that.
“The pressure is hot now. I am not saying his job is on the line or anything. But the past is the past in football.
“You were close in the League and you lost the Champions League final. Ok, but they started poor this season.

“Nobody is thinking about last season, everyone is thinking about now and they want Liverpool to continue being that team.
“It has been a struggle and Klopp is showing they’re human.“
