Pundit lambasts Ryan Kent as ‘the biggest failure at Rangers’
Frank McAvennie has slammed Ryan Kent as the “biggest failure” at Rangers.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Celtic striker insisted Kent is a “wonderful player” but does not have the right attitude.
The 25-year-old was on the bench for the Gers against St Mirren on Saturday (8 October).

The winger was subbed on for the final 25 minutes of the 4-0 victory.
As quoted by the Daily Record (7 October), Giovanni van Bronckhorst said Kent “has to bring more”.
The Light Blues boss added that his qualities “haven’t been there every game”.
Kent was in the starting lineup to face former club Liverpool last Tuesday (4 October) and was subbed off for the final ten minutes of the European clash.
McAvennie has slammed Kent’s attitude and work rate.
“The biggest failure for me is Kent,” he told Football Insider.
“He is getting criticised now and the light is getting shone on him.
“Last week against Liverpool, [Mohamed] Salah knocked him off the ball and he never chased him.
“I’m thinking that is not right.
“I always thought Kent was a wonderful player with great ability but nobody is going to touch him, certainly in the Premier League, with attitudes like that.
“You have to have the attitude to bust a gut to get the ball back.“

Kent has made 13 appearances for the Gers across all competitions this season.
In those outings he has scored one goal and provided four assists.
