Pundit: Leeds board not happy with Bielsa after 'massive' development

The Leeds United board will still be demanding more of Marcelo Bielsa despite their “massive” win over Norwich City, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker insisted Leeds are still stuck in a relegation battle after picking up their second win of the season at Carrow Road.

The 2-1 win puts three points between the Whites and third from bottom Burnley who also won at the weekend.

As quoted by the Atheltic (November 2), Andrea Radrizzani insisted Bielsa has the “unconditional” support despite their poor start to the season.

“It was a massive win for Leeds against Norwich but it wasn’t a very convincing win,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.

“The Leeds board will want to see some better results. They’ll want to see another win to get them away from that relegation zone.

“They’re a lot of teams like that. You look at Aston Villa, Leeds are on the same points so Aston Villa need to get away from that relegation zone.

“Burnley, they’ve brought in Cornet and he looks frightening. Chris Wood scores as well. Burnley will start to get results.

“We’ve seen Southampton get results, Watford can get results.

“It’s going to be a fascinating title race and fascinating relegation battle as well.”

Leeds host mid-table Leicester City at Elland Road on Sunday in their final Premier League games before the international break.

Leicester play Spartak Moscow in the Europa League at home on Thursday before travelling to West Yorkshire.
