Pundit ‘not surprised’ by Celtic move for Joe Hart replacement
Celtic need competition for Joe Hart and a move for Ipswich Town’s Vaclav Hladky would be a “good option”.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Rangers and Aston Villa defender Alan Hutton admitted that Hart has “made mistakes” at Parkhead but has been a positive addition overall.
The Tractor Boy’s shot-stopper Hladky is reportedly on the radar of the Hoops with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.

Former England number-one Hart is Celtic’s undisputed starting shot-stopper, but at the age of 36, the club have been seeking replacements.
Hladky, 33, was pivotal in helping Ipswich get promoted to the Championship last season, where they now sit second and are among the favourites to reach the Premier League.
Hutton urged Celtic to bring someone in behind Hart to “push him all the way”.
“Joe Hart needs competition,” he told Football Insider.
“Obviously, the way Celtic play at this moment in time, they need a goalkeeper who is good with their feet and can pick out a pass.
“He needs competition – that’s a part of football.
“Since Hart’s been at Celtic, he’s played really well. Of course, he’s made his mistakes like everyone else, but that’s football.
“But he needs that person behind him who’s going to push him all the way and take him to the next level.

“I’m not surprised they’re looking to bring someone else in. Hladky would be a good option moving forward.”
