Pundit: Rangers have pulled off a bigger coup with Lundstram deal than people think
Paul Robinson claims the Rangers capture of John Lundstram could usher in a new period of dominance for the club.
The former Tottenham stopper, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, reacted as the Gers announced their second signing of the summer.
On Monday (5th July), Rangers confirmed Lundstram has signed a three-year deal with the club after leaving Sheffield United.
The 27-year-old was released by Sheffield United last month after rejecting fresh terms.
He joins a stacked midfield as Steven Gerrard now has an incredible amount of depth in the position.
Ryan Jack, Glen Kamara, Joe Aribo, Scott Arfield, Ianis Hagi, Steven Davis and Nnamdi Ofoborh are all capable central midfield players.

However, Robinson claims no Gers player will want to leave Ibrox this summer due to the chance of dominating for the foreseeable future.
“I can’t see many players wanting to exit Rangers at the moment,” Robinson told Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs.
“Unless they aren’t happy with their game time. What Gerrard is building there, it’s a really special time to be there and be a part of it.
“There won’t be a huge queue for the exit door at Rangers. Regardless of whether players play every week or not.
“In the next two or three seasons, Celtic are rebuilding. They have lost Scott Brown, they need an overhaul of the squad and they have a new manager in.
“Rangers have the potential to dominate Scottish football again for the next two or three years.
“I can’t see many players wanting to leave.”
