Pundit salutes ‘amazing’ Moyes after unexpected West Ham reveal
Noel Whelan has backed “amazing” Premier League high-flyers West Ham to secure another top-six finish this season.
The former Leeds striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, branded Hammers boss David Moyes a “great manager”.
As per Transfermarkt, West Ham (59) have unexpectedly picked up the third-most Premier League points this calendar year – with only Manchester City (80) and Chelsea (63) having more.

The east London club currently sit fourth in the league after an impressive start to the campaign.
West Ham have also taken charge of their Europa League group, sitting top after qualifying for the competition with a sixth-place finish last term.
Whelan insisted the “sky’s the limit” for the Irons, who he praised as a “well-run, well-organised club”.
“I can only see them finishing in the top six,” he told Football Insider‘s Ewan Kingsbury.
“The way they are playing right now is amazing. They’ve got that cohesion; they’re disciplined and know their roles,
“They’re organised and aggressive but they have that flair as well.
“They have a goalscorer in Michail Antonio and a midfield who can compete with anyone.
“The sky’s the limit for West Ham, they are really on the crest of a wave.
“They seem to be enjoying everything – from the Premier League to the European competition.
“West Ham are a very competitive side and a great side to watch put together by a great manager in David Moyes – who seems to be getting the best out of everyone.
“That just shows how much of a well-run, well-organised club they are.”

Antonio has enjoyed a blistering start to the season, scoring six goals and registering three assists in eight league games.
West Ham face Aston Villa on Sunday in their next Premier League fixture.
