Pundit shares 'massive' Leeds United v Watford prediction after 'worrying' development
Leeds United will beat Watford on Saturday (9 April) to avoid being dragged back into the Premier League relegation fight.
That’s according to former Whites stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about his former side’s chances of staying up.
Leeds are now only six points off the relegation zone after Burnley beat Everton 3-2 on Wednesday (6 April).
Jesse March’s side take on fellow strugglers Watford at Elland Road and Kenny claims his former side will pick up a “massive” win.
“It doesn’t look as comfortable for Leeds now, it looked a bit worrying for a second there,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“Listen, they are still six points ahead of Burnley. I know Burnley have the two games but I would rather have points on the board.

“I think Leeds go and win this game as well, that would be massive because I think that puts Leeds pretty much safe.
“Leeds can afford to lose, whereas Burnley and Everton have to win all of their games.
“So the pressure is on those two sides. Look at Burnley, they have won four games this season.
“If Leeds go nine clear then Burnley have to almost double their number of wins.
“I don’t see that happening but I still think they will go out against Watford and make an impact.
“I think they will win that one.”
Marsch’s side are unbeaten in their last three Premier League games.
A win against Watford would give the Whites 33 points with six games left to play.
