Pundit suggests Man United could sack Rangnick within days as club descends into ‘complete shambles’
Frank McAvennie has suggested Man United could sack Ralf Rangnick this week following the fallout from the club’s recent performances.
The former West Ham hitman, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claims the atmosphere in the Red Devils dressing room must be “horrible”.
On Tuesday (4 January) The Mirror reported as many as 11 players want to leave Man United after becoming “disillusioned” with life at the club.

It was also claimed some of the players are underwhelmed by the interim boss and are not impressed by his tactics.
This came after Man United were beaten 1-0 by Wolves on Tuesday (4 January) in a severe blow to their top-four hopes.
McAvennie claims sacking Rangnick may be the only way to revive the club’s fortunes.
“Oh my God, that dressing room must be horrible,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“I see no leaders in there, Maguire may be the captain but he’s no leader.
“You have Ronaldo, who must be regretting that move so much at this point, doing nothing.
“The club is a complete shambles but I have no idea how to fix that dressing room.
“There needs to be a wholesale change to get a squad that is united and ready to give it all on the pitch.
“That’s not there. Is Rangnick the man to achieve that? I don’t think so.
“It would be mad if they got rid of him but what else can they do at this point when players want to leave.
“It might be the best thing for everyone.”

Man United lie seventh in the Premier League.
They are net in action against Aston Villa in the FA Cup on Monday (10 January).
