Aston Villa face Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend and the latter will have four players assessed ahead of the game, according to a reliable journalist.
BBC Sheffield’s sports editor Andy Giddings revealed on his personal Twitter account that Sam Hutchinson, Almen Abdi, Ross Wallace, Callum McManaman will all have fitness checks for Wednesday.
Wallace was the only player from the quartet that featured in the club’s last game against Burton, but manager Carlos Carvalhal will hope to have more options available to him against Villa.

Villa host Wednesday in the Championship and will be looking to bounce back from a 1-0 defeat to Huddersfield.
Steve Bruce’s side are 15th-placed in the league table and are looking to build some momentum going into next season.
The Midlands giants have had to settle for a mid-table finish this season and are too far away from the promotion picture, but have won three of their last four games.
Meanwhile, Wednesday are strongly in contention for the play-off and will be desperate to have their best available squad for Saturday’s trip to Villa.
The Owls are sixth-placed in the Championship and are in pole position to finish inside the play-offs, but are nervously looking over their shoulder at the threat from Fulham.
