Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani has wished the best success to full-back Vurnon Anita as he became the club’s newest recruit on Thursday.
The 28-year-old was announced as Thomas Christiansen’s fourth summer signing as the Dutchman penned a three-year deal at Elland Road following his release from Newcastle.
Anita is the latest signing for the Championship club and joins up with Mateusz Klich, Madger Gomes and Felix Wiedwald in agreeing to join Christiansen’s new regime at Leeds.
Italian business Radrizzani has wasted no time in welcoming Anita to West Yorkshire on his personal Twitter account.
“Welcome Vurnon, wish you a great time and success at Leeds,” he said on Thursday evening.

Anita was a wealth of experience from playing in the top two tiers of English football after spending five years with Newcastle.
The right-back, who can also play in the centre of midfield, played a key role in helping the Magpies win the Championship title last season.
He made 31 appearances across all competitions last season despite suffering with injury around the festive period.
Radrizzani has had a testing time ever since he gained full ownership of Leeds in May.
He has had to deal with Garry Monk quitting Elland Road, which led to a three-week-long search for his success before Christiansen was installed at the helm last month.
However he has been widely praised for the work he has done so far, with a number of signings completed and the successful purchase of Elland Road.
