Radrizzani shares on Twitter what is glorious about Leeds

By Amir Mir

Andrea Radrizzani has shared on Twitter that Elland Road is “glorious” after stating that he is “happy” to be back in Leeds.

The 42-year-old Italian is the co-owner of the Whites who are aiming to secure promotion to the Premier League this season for the first time in 13 years.

Under the stewardship of highly-rated coach Garry Monk, the Englishmen has currently guided them to a top six place in the Championship.

They will face a stern test on Saturday evening when they travel to the Madejski Stadium to take on promotion rivals and fifth-placed Reading.

With the international break now over, Radrizzani sent his message to the club’s supporters as the Championship games return.

“Our glorious home, Elland Road,” Radrizzani wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Prior to the mini break, the Whites picked up an impressive 2-0 home win at Elland Road against automatic chasers Brighton.

That result would have no doubt have boosted the club’s hopes of firstly securing that top six spot at the end of the campaign and then possibly making a march towards the top two.

The next four matches could define the club’s season with the Reading game followed by a Tuesday night fixture away at Brentford.

Four days later, the Yorkshire outfit will welcome promotion hopefuls Preston North End to Elland Road before taking on current Championship leaders Newcastle on April 14.

Monk’s side have picked up 11 points from their last five league matches, including a 1-0 home win against neighbours Sheffield Wednesday.
