Radu Dragusin sends heartfelt message after devastating Tottenham blow
Tottenham defender Radu Dragusin took to social media to share an injury update with the fans after his most recent setback.
The 23-year-old tore his ACL in Tottenham’s 3-0 Europa League win over Elfsborg earlier in the season, and will subsequently be out for the rest of the campaign.
Dragusin has since undergone surgery as Tottenham’s injury crisis deepens, they will likely be without ten first-team players for their game with fellow strugglers Man United on Sunday (February 16).
Some Spurs fans have started to turn on manager Ange Postecoglu as his side continues to struggle with injuries, suggesting the Australian is ‘out of his depth.’
Football Insider revealed (February 10) that Postecoglu still has the backing of the Tottenham board despite being knocked out of two domestic cup competitions in one week.
Tottenham aren’t faring any better in the Premier League, sitting in 14th with eight wins, three draws, 13 defeats, and 27 points from their 24 games.

Dragusin had been a major beneficiary of Spurs’ injury crisis before falling victim, starting 25 of his 28 games across all competitions and failing to provide a goal contribution in his 2179 minutes of action.
Several Tottenham players, including Dominic Solanke and James Maddison, wished Dragusin a speedy recovery after learning the extent of his injury.
Radusin himself took to Instagram to share a post-surgery update with the fans, saying: “This morning, I successfully got through the surgery, which went perfectly. I am grateful to the entire medical team for their care and professionalism.”
At the same time, I am thankful for all the messages of encouragement and your continuous support. It’s wonderful to feel this kind of support. I will do everything I can to ensure a smooth recovery and come back stronger as soon as possible.”

Spurs were able to secure two late January deals to help with their ongoing injury issues, with Mathys Tel and Kevin Danso joining the North London club.
Tel in particular has certainly made an impression on the Spurs fans, with many suggesting the club may have found their Harry Kane replacement.
