Radu Dragusin dispatched a fresh update to Tottenham fans as he continues his recovery from a season-ending injury.

The Romanian international played a key role under Ange Postecoglou last season, stepping up when both Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven spent extended spells on the sidelines through injury.

However, his season was also cut short after Dragusin suffered an ACL tear in February, ruling him out for the remainder of the campaign.

Dragusin expressed his heartbreak at missing out on the Europa League final, though he was present on the pitch to celebrate Tottenham’s long-awaited triumph in their first major trophy in 17 years.

Now, with Thomas Frank appointed as Spurs’ new head coach, Dragusin has provided an encouraging update on his recovery ahead of next season.

The defender provided Tottenham supporters with a positive update on his rehabilitation, posting a series of photos showing himself involved in individual training on the pitch.

Dragusin also reposted the official club’s update, which featured the caption: “Radu at work.”

Dragusin shared an update with the Tottenham fans on his current fitness levels earlier last month as he continues to recover from post-operation since his ACL injury.

He had grown into an important figure for Spurs due to the defensive injury crisis, making 28 appearances in all competitions and starting 14 Premier League matches.

However, his absence only compounded issues at the back, with many Tottenham fans describing the squad as “cursed” following a season riddled with injuries in defence.

Still, the team ended the campaign on a high with long-awaited silverware, and Dragusin will now be hoping to return to full fitness and impress new head coach Frank ahead of the new season.

Tottenham remain confident of Morgan Gibbs-White deal despite Forest complaint

With Frank now leading the squad, Tottenham are expected to be active in the transfer market but their pursuit of Morgan Gibbs-White took an unexpected twist.

Nottingham Forest reported Tottenham to the Premier League as the club have accused Spurs of making contact with the player before officially triggering a release clause that had not been made public.

Despite the legal concerns, Football Insider revealed that Gibbs-White is still very likely to become a Tottenham player before the window closes.

Whether the transfer materialises later in the summer or is resolved sooner, it’s a clear signal of Spurs’ ambition under Frank as they prepare for the new campaign.
