Radu Dragusin sends ‘off the radar’ message amid Tottenham absence
Radu Dragusin has provided a fresh update amid the centre-back’s injury enforced absence from Tottenham action.
In spite of the run to the Europa League final, this has been a frustrating season for just about everyone connected to Spurs.
For the Romanian international that has been in part down to his own personal struggles, as well as the club’s disappointing run of domstic results.
Dragusin tore his ACL as Tottenham beat Elfsborg in the Europa League at the end of January, bringing a premature end to his season.

Radu Dragusin ‘on a mission’ in injury recovery
Given the severity of his injury, it is likely to be some time before the 23-year-old is playing again, although he is progressing in his recovery.
Recently, Dragusin revealed that he is now back running 12 weeks after the Tottenham man had undergone surgery on that injury.

Now, the centre-back has hinted that he is taking even more steps in the right direction as he aims to return to the pitch.
Taking to his Instagram story on Tuesday afternoon (13 May), the centre back posted the picture from the training ground, along with a bag of footballs, indicating that may be the next step in his recovery.
The Tottenham ace then added a caption that appeared to highlight his motivation, by declaring “Off the radar, on a mission”.

Tottenham will be closely following star’s recovery
Football Insider Verdict
It will be encouraging for those at Spurs to see that the centre-back appears to be making good progress as he looks to get back to full fitness.
There’s no doubt it’s been a frustrating campaign for Dragusin in north London.
Suffering such a severe injury that keeps you out for so long is an incredibly difficult setback for any player to take, so it is a positive that his spirits still appear to be high.
Meanwhile, it is worth noting that Atletico Madrid are being heavily linked with Tottenham centre-back Cristian Romero ahead of the summer transfer window.
Should that move go through, it may mean Spurs need Dragusin to play an even bigger part for the side when he is fit and available again.
With that in mind they ought to be keeping a close eye on his recovery to see just how ready he might be for such a role.
