Raheem Sterling: Giants ‘queueing up’ to sign Man City star after Pep Guardiola reveal – pundit
Gabby Agbonlahor has tipped Raheem Sterling to reject a new Man City contract and explore a move to either Spain or Italy.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker claimed Sterling may want a change after being a Premier League star for so long.
The England international became the club’s 10th top goalscorer with a stunning strike in their 5-0 demolition of Sporting in the Champions League yesterday (15 February).

As quoted by the Manchester Evening News on Sunday, Pep Guardiola admitted he is in the dark over Sterling’s contract situation.
The 27-year-old is set to become a free agent at the end of next season but Guardiola urged the club to take action and tie him down – a view Agbonlahor shares.
He told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley:“If Man City had any sense they would try and tie him down to a long-term contract because he’s been outstanding.
“If you look at Man City’s wingers, he’s probably been the best performer this season so I’d definitely try and keep him.
“If they don’t offer him a new contract there will be a queue of clubs looking to sign him.
“If I’m Sterling though I would not sign a new deal, I’d want to start every week.

“Sterling probably wants a change too. He’s been in the Premier League for so long, maybe he will want to try the Spanish league or the Italian league. It will be interesting to see what happens.
“Either way, Man City would be silly to let him go.”
