Raheem Sterling: Pundit shares ‘massive’ verdict on Man City star joining Real Madrid after update
A move to Real Madrid may be too good to turn down for Man City star Raheem Sterling.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the England international’s future.
On Tuesday (31 May) The Times reported Real Madrid are ramping up interest in Sterling, 27.

It is also claimed the attacker will meet with City executives after the international break to decide whether to extend his contract or move to another club.
The attacker is out of contract in the summer of 2023, last signing a deal in November 2018.
Kenny insists Sterling will struggle to resist Real Madrid’s ‘massive pull’.
“Real Madrid have a massive pull,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“Does he think his time is up at City now? Is he wanting a fresh challenge?
“That would explain why he has let his contract run down a little bit.
“We don’t know want has gone on and Real Madrid is the club everyone wants to play for.
“They have just won La Liga and the Champions League even though they weren’t at their best.
“They just showed what Real Madrid is about by winning that trophy, they looked dead and buried in a few games but still won them.
“The opportunity to play for the European champions might be too much for Sterling to turn down.”

Sterling made 47 appearances during the 2021-22 season, scoring 17 goals and providing nine assists.
He has made 339 total appearances for the club since joining from Liverpool in the summer of 2015.
