This is what talent-spotting ace Ralph Hasenhuttl could bring to Arsenal

Football Insider analyses what Ralph Hasenhuttl can bring to the Premier League after reports claim he could become the next manager at Arsenal.

According to the Mirror, Hasenhuttl confirmed he has been approached by the club in regards to the possibility of him taking over when Wenger’s contract runs out.

The RB Leipzig manager has guided his side to the top of the Bundesliga this season and the Austrian could soon turn his hand to the Premier League.

The 49-year-old is known for his tactical nous and he certainly knows how to get results, something he proved when he helped Ingolstadt climb away from the bottom of the Bundesliga 2 table.

He guided the German team to a historic promotion in 2015 in just his second season at the club before confirming his status as one of the league’s best managers when he took over at Die Schanzer and continued his impressive work.

Like Wenger, talent-spottiing ace Hasenhuttl has spent very little money in the past and built talent using youth in Germany and Austria but he is also not afraid to spend and did so when he took over at Leipzig.

However, a £42.5 million spending spree seems to have done the job and his new signings have settled in well, helping Leipzig climb to the top of the table.

What is perhaps his most exciting trait, is his intense, high-pressing philosophy which has brought Jurgen Klopp much success at Liverpool and it’s easy to see how he can bring that strategy to Arsenal.

Wenger achieved huge success bringing through youth at Arsenal and it’s unlikely the club will steer away from that principle so Hasenhuttl certainly fits the bill to become the next manager of the club.

In other Arsenal news, Hector Bellerin claimed Arsene Wenger was the reason why he stayed at the club because of this.
