Rangers ace Jack Butland eyed by Premier League trio after offer submitted – Sources
Rangers star Jack Butland is being monitored by three Premier League clubs ahead of the summer transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.
The goalkeeper is being eyed for a return to the English top flight since transforming his career at Ibrox after his free move last summer.
It is believed that Rangers rejected an offer from Nottingham Forest for Butland, 31, in January but they are continuing to monitor him.
Well-placed sources have also told Football Insider that two other Premier League outfits are keeping tabs on the former Stoke City and Man United shot-stopper.
Could Rangers star Jack Butland return to the Premier League?
Football Insider revealed (19 March) that Rangers will accept offers of around £15million for Butland this summer.
The Englishman has arguably been the Gers’ best player this season having helped the Glasgow giants to the best defensive record in the league.
He has been a mainstay for Philippe Clement’s title-chasing side having started all but one game in all competitions this season.
However, sources told Football Insider earlier this month (16 March) that Butland has not ruled out a return to the Premier League this summer as he is eager to prove himself again in England.
He moved to Rangers from Crystal Palace, where he made 17 appearances in three seasons, after his deal with the Eagles expired.
Across 29 outings in the league, Butland can boast 17 clean sheets – three more than second-place Zander Clark of Hearts and six more than Celtic shot-stopper Joe Hart.

Rangers sit second in the league table with one game in hand over rivals Celtic, who are just one point clear at the top of the league.
They are next in action against Hibernian at Ibrox on Saturday (30 March) after the international break.
