Rangers are plotting move to sign goalkeeper as good as Joe Hart – expert
Alan Hutton has suggested Jack Butland would be the perfect replacement for Allan McGregor at Rangers.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Gers defender said Butland is at a similar level to Joe Hart when he joined Celtic.
On 18 February, sources told this site that the Light Blues are plotting to sign the 29-year-old who is currently on loan at Man United but is yet to make an appearance.

The England international has been on the radar at Ibrox for some time and is the preferred target of sporting director Ross Wilson.
Sources have told Football Insider that Butland would be “keen” to play for the Gers next season.
The shot-stopper’s current contract at Crystal Palace expires in the summer and the club are unlikely to offer him a new deal.
Hutton suggested Butland is exactly the kind of keeper Rangers need.
“He is a good age, he has not played a whole lot of football over the last few years but he has been out on loan and different things,” he told Football Insider.

“He has got experience, he has been in the England set up. To a certain extent I see him the way Joe Hart was when he came to Celtic, even though Joe Hart has a lot more experience than him.
“But he is not playing at this moment in time. It is a great opportunity for him. He has still got a good few years ahead of him and that is the kind of name that they need to fill that void with a lot of experience.“
